THE GUY DOWN UNDER for THE BLACK AND WHITE BOARD & FLIGHT FROM VENUS

What a fun and exciting day it has been and not forgetting to mention productive! Today was the photo shoot with an amazing up and coming style and beauty blogger that has come from a land far far away of Éire or Ireland for you non Gaelic speak folks. Jennifer is beautiful, fun and ambitious and professional in every aspect of the business and she is also a very dear friend of mine.
We have been talking about doing a photo shoot for many moons now but the planets have never allowed us time to make it happen, well today it happened and the results speak for it self.

You can follow Jennifer's blog for all things fashion and beauty @ http://theblackandwhiteboard.com/

On today's shoot I was fortunate enough to get my hand on 11 pieces of beautifully hand crafted natural crystal jewellery by Flight From Venus. When I saw these I knew I had to have these for the photo shoot as there is nothing else on the market that looks quite like them... These hand crafted pieces has a real high street appeal definitely for the fashion conscious modern woman or man... that doesn't want to conform to commercialisation. These are all standout statement pieces that can be worn alone or layered and Jen sure knows how to work them into her style!

You can find Jewellery featured in today's photo shoot @ http://www.flightfromvenus.com/

EASTER LONG WEEKEND

The weekend has been beautiful sunny and cool but is coming to an end, the siblings, cousins and I decide to head out to the local park to play a short game of basket ball before we head on home to Sydney.
We got to the park and before the ball game even commenced, it quickly came to an end when we could no longer contain the inner children within us and started racing for the giant slide!
I've forgotten how much fun I had on these playground equipments as a child, but thanks to my siblings, cousins, nephew and niece they kindly reminded me how the simple things in life is really what makes me happy... and not forgetting to mention the perfect landscape for amazing photos.

HOOROO STRAYA & G'DAY UK!

Three months ago after a very average day, in a very average job, I questioned myself and my life... 'What have I achieved?' And I came to a rude realisation that I have not accomplished anything I have wanted but instead and have entered into many alternate 'safe routes' doing very vanilla jobs, started a business degree and being completely miserable and boring. I have ignored the fact that I am creative and not vanilla. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with being vanilla, but I am more so a scoop of salted caramel, pistachio, coconut-pandan and may be chocolate fondant or something bonkers like that!

The reality is I am afraid, afraid to fail, so I often settle for the safe option. It was the safe option that made my days dull grey and miserable, but luckily I worked with a great bunch of friends that are more second family to me, this helped time pass by and when it finally came time for me to say farewell to my work place of almost 5 years I decided it's now time, time to live, explore, start living out of my comfort zone and discover what my purpose is...

So I have came to terms with myself and have accepted to accept failure and rejection as part of life as we know it and also I set myself a whole new list of goals in which I have promised myself to tick off pass or fail, and if I want it bad enough I will keep trying until I succeed!
First on the list is to travel Asia & Europe, so I got the ball rolling in February with a trip to Hong Kong (which was amazing) and now fast forward three months and I have applied for my UK VISA, booked my flight and moving to London in a month time!

Well it is getting late here now (2:27am) my 6 shots of coffee is wearing off and I am literally falling asleep as I attempt to sign off... If there is any one is reading this just remember, don't be afraid to fail, because your success is counting on it.
